Pharmacy Technician | Lewiston, Maine

This opportunity is seeking skilled Pharmacy Technicians to support pharmacy operations under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. The role is based in Lewiston, ME, and offers a 13-week contract with a dynamic schedule that includes weekdays and rotating weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions while adhering to all standards and government regulations.
• Prepackage medications for dispensing following established guidelines.
• Assist the Pharmacist in the final verification of prescriptions, including labeling and packaging post-review.
• Coordinate the timely and precise delivery of medications to customers.
• Support Pharmacy Management with inventory control, including receiving shipments, rotating stock, and tracking lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Collaborate with the Technician Supervisor to maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring equipment calibration, safety, and cleanliness.
• Focus exclusively on fulfillment tasks; IV preparation is not involved in this role.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Pharmacy Technician license for the state of Maine.
• Prior experience working directly with Pharmacists in a pharmacy setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow regulatory standards.
• Ability to manage inventory and maintain organizational systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Rotating weekend shifts
