Pharmacy Technician in Liberty, IN

A hospital pharmacy technician position is available to support both night and day shifts, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle. This role involves essential pharmacy operations within a hospital setting, including sterile and non-sterile compounding, inventory management, and direct patient care support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding with precision and adherence to safety protocols
• Restock automated dispensing machines (Pyxis) to ensure medication availability
• Handle incoming calls professionally, providing accurate information as needed
• Deliver medications promptly to hospital floors as part of patient care support
• Identify and remove expired medications to maintain inventory quality and compliance

Schedule Options:

• Night Shift: 7 days on, 7 days off, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Day/Afternoon Shift: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician license or eligibility to obtain one
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment
• Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations, including compounding and inventory management
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with healthcare staff
