Pharmacy Technician - Liberty, IN

This opportunity is ideal for experienced Pharmacy Technicians seeking a challenging role within a hospital setting. The position requires a detail-oriented individual capable of performing sterile and non-sterile compounding, managing Pyxis machine restocking, and supporting pharmacy operations through medication distribution and inventory control.

Schedule:

• Days/afternoons
• 8-hour shifts
• 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding accurately and efficiently
• Restock Pyxis machines to ensure medication availability
• Field calls directed to the pharmacy, providing timely and professional responses
• Deliver medications to patient floors as needed
• Identify and remove expired medications to maintain safety standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Indiana Pharmacy Technician license or ability to obtain licensure promptly
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital pharmacy technician experience
• Proven expertise in sterile compounding procedures and protocols
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in medication management
• Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare team members
