Pharmacy Technician in Lindsborg, KS

A healthcare facility in McPherson, Kansas, is seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week inpatient assignment, open to travelers. This role supports the pharmacy team by preparing and dispensing medications and providing essential pharmaceutical services within an inpatient setting.

Schedule and Hours:

• Monday through Friday
• 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• 1st shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacist with medication provision, drug information, and pharmaceutical services for healthcare staff.
• Prepare sterile IV admixtures with an emphasis on accuracy and safety.
• Receive and store incoming medication and supply deliveries in compliance with protocols.
• Process prescriptions and medication orders, ensuring medications are prepared correctly.
• Utilize Meditech software for processing and inventory management (experience preferred).

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear pharmacy technician license in Kansas.
• Minimum of one year of recent IV compounding experience.
• Familiarity with Meditech pharmacy software is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to sterile compounding procedures.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within the pharmacy team.
