Pharmacy Technician in Lisle, IL

A contract-to-hire position is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician in the Lisle, IL area, focusing on long-term care and mail order pharmacy services. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment supporting medication dispensing and order entry processes. The initial assignment is for approximately 13 weeks, with the potential to transition into a direct hire role.

Location: Lisle, IL
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process medication orders in a long-term care and mail order setting
• Utilize Frameworks order entry systems (training provided) to ensure timely and precise entry of prescriptions
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain accurate records and fulfill customer needs
• Support daily pharmacy operations while adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current Illinois Pharmacy Technician license required
• Previous experience in long-term care or retail pharmacy essential
• Familiarity with Frameworks order entry system is a plus, though training will be provided
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently under supervision
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to maintaining patient safety standards
