Support pharmacy operations as a Pharmacy Technician in a long-term care (LTC) mail order environment. This role offers a contract-to-hire opportunity, initially for 13 weeks, with the potential to transition to a direct hire position. The work schedule primarily covers weekdays with occasional rotating Saturday shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process pharmacy orders using the Frameworks system; training will be provided.
  • Assist with order entry and ensure timely medication dispensing for long-term care patients.
  • Support daily pharmacy operations while adhering to established protocols and quality standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with pharmacy team members to maintain an efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician license is required.
  • Prior experience in long-term care or retail pharmacy settings is essential.
  • Familiarity with the Frameworks order entry system is advantageous but not mandatory, as training is available.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
