Pharmacy Technician | Logansport, Indiana

This opportunity is ideal for Indiana licensed Pharmacy Technicians with retail experience seeking a dynamic role in a community pharmacy setting. The position involves key responsibilities such as order entry and assisting customers at the point of sale, ensuring excellent service delivery within a busy retail environment.

Location:

• Primary: Community pharmacy in Winamac, IN
• Potential rotation: Sister facility in Francesville, IN (after training and if needed)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (40 hours per week)
• Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Manage accurate order entry using PioneerRx system (experience preferred)
• Ring up customers efficiently while providing friendly service
• Support daily pharmacy operations consistent with retail pharmacy standards
• Attend a three-day mandatory orientation and training before starting
• Potentially cover shifts at a nearby sister location following training

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current Indiana Pharmacy Technician license required
• Retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Certification from PTCB required for coverage at sister facility
• Proficiency or willingness to learn order entry with PioneerRx preferred
• Commitment to business casual dress code and professionalism

Work Environment:

• Small, supportive pharmacy team including a Pharmacy Manager, one full-time pharmacist, and two full-time technicians
• Focused on providing exceptional community pharmacy services
