Pharmacy Technician | Logansport, Indiana

This opportunity is for licensed Pharmacy Technicians with retail experience to provide essential support in a community pharmacy setting. The role involves order entry, customer transactions, and potentially covering additional locations as needed. This is a contract position based locally with hours designed to maintain work-life balance while ensuring excellent pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately perform order entry and ring up customers
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service in a retail pharmacy environment
• Assist with pharmacy operations at a sister facility once trained
• Adhere to proper policies and procedures as outlined during training
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy team including the pharmacist and manager

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Indiana
• Previous retail pharmacy experience required
• Experience with PioneerRx order entry system preferred
• Ability to train, adapt, and cover shifts at multiple locations
• PTCB certification required for coverage at Francesville site
• Commitment to arrive for a 3-day orientation prior to start
• Local candidates preferred due to community-based role

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9am-6pm
• Weekend coverage every other Saturday, 9am-6pm

Location:

• Primarily based in Winamac, IN with possible coverage in Francesville, IN after training
