Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - London, Ohio

A certified and Ohio-licensed pharmacy technician position is available in London, OH, offering per diem work from ASAP for approximately 8 to 12 weeks. This role supports a pharmacy with an average daily census of 15 patients and a dedicated team consisting of nearly 4 pharmacists and 3 pharmacy technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Refill and manage medications using Pyxis automation technology
• Compound both hazardous and non-hazardous medications with precision and adherence to safety protocols
• Assist with order entry, preferably with EPIC system familiarity (experience beneficial but not mandatory)
• Collaborate efficiently with pharmacy staff to maintain smooth pharmacy operations

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Possible weekend coverage 1–2 weekends per month

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification and Ohio state license as a pharmacy technician
• Demonstrated proficiency in compounding hazardous and non-hazardous preparations
• Experience working with Pyxis automated dispensing systems is required
• Prior knowledge of EPIC order entry system is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently and within a team setting
• Local candidates preferred; travel expenses can be considered if the ideal candidate is not local
