Pharmacy Technician | Long Beach, California

A healthcare facility specializing in long-term care and closed-door mail order pharmacy is seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians to fill two data entry technician roles on a contract basis with potential for permanent placement. Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter prescription and patient data into electronic medical records (EMR) systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with pharmacy regulations.
• Support pharmacy operations by coordinating with Sterile Compounding IV Technicians and other pharmacy staff.
• Work rotating weekend shifts as part of the schedule, helping maintain continuous pharmacy services.
• Adapt to alternating days off to accommodate operational needs, ensuring consistent coverage.

Qualifications:

• Valid Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• Experience working with multiple EMR systems and pharmacy frameworks is highly desirable.
• Previous data entry experience within a pharmacy setting preferred.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining accuracy under time constraints.
• Willingness to work rotating weekends and flexible shifts.

Schedule:

• One position: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM with alternate days off monthly (Sun/Mon one month, Wed/Thu the next).
• One position: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday.

Location: Long Beach, CA.
