An established pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with a background in home infusion or compounding to support its growing operations. Location:

• Long Beach, CA

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday start times vary (8 AM, 9 AM, or 10 AM)—flexibility required
• Rotating weekends
• Hours of operation are 7 days a week, 6 AM to 9 PM

Responsibilities:

• Prepare compounded medications accurately, adhering to all safety and quality standards
• Manage patient and provider communications, including telephone interactions, to ensure seamless service delivery
• Utilize a proprietary workflow system to maintain efficient and compliant operations
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to support home infusion treatments

Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician license
• Previous experience specifically in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy settings (inpatient-only experience not accepted)
• National Certification highly preferred
• Strong communication skills demonstrated through interactions with patients and providers
• Ability to adapt to varying start times and rotating weekend shifts
