Pharmacy Technician in Long Beach, CA

An established home infusion and compounding pharmacy is expanding its team immediately and seeks a skilled Pharmacy Technician with experience in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy settings. Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and compound sterile and non-sterile medications following established protocols.
• Use a proprietary workflow system to manage compounding and inventory tasks.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers to coordinate medication therapy and ensure clear understanding of treatment plans.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory guidelines and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory management and quality assurance as needed.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician license required.
• National Certification is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy settings; inpatient-only experience will not be considered.
• Strong communication skills for patient and provider interaction.
• Familiarity with retail compounding pharmacies is a plus.

Schedule and Hours:

• Monday through Friday shifts starting at 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, or 10:00 AM, with flexibility required.
• Rotating weekend shifts.
• Operations run seven days a week from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $23 to $36 per hour based on experience.
