Pharmacy Technician | Long Beach, California

A full-time opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician specializing in sterile compounding within outpatient oncology clinics. This position supports on-site pharmacies across multiple locations in the San Fernando Region, spanning from Santa Clarita to Glendale and Northridge. The role is integral to providing exceptional patient-centered cancer care.

Location: San Fernando Region, covering clinics from Santa Clarita to Glendale and Northridge
Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday
• Day shift only

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile admixture medications following strict safety and quality standards
• Support pharmacy operations in outpatient oncology settings
• Travel between clinics within the assigned region as needed to ensure pharmacy coverage
• Collaborate closely with pharmacists, nurses, and oncologists to ensure accurate medication dispensing and patient safety

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician with sterile compounding expertise
• Strong knowledge of USP <797> and <800> guidelines and aseptic technique
• Flexible to travel across multiple outpatient clinics within the San Fernando Region
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team focused on oncology care
