Pharmacy Technician - Long Beach, New York

A growing pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with expertise in home infusion or compounding to fill a direct hire position urgently. This role is ideal for candidates who have a background in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy settings, with no inpatient-only experience considered. The position requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage patient and provider interactions.

Location:

• Long Beach, NY

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday starting at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., or 10 a.m. (flexibility required)
• Rotating weekends
• Hours of operation: 7 days a week, 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compound medications accurately following proprietary workflow system procedures
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers regarding medication therapies
• Support pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with all safety protocols

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in California
• National Certification highly preferred
• Experience in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and flexible scheduling
