Pharmacy Technician | Los Angeles, California

An opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacy Technician to provide interim inpatient support at a healthcare facility in the Los Angeles area. This role is ideally suited for a local candidate who is looking for a full-time commitment initially, with the potential to transition into a more flexible, PRN schedule afterwards.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing IV compounding duties with precision and adherence to safety protocols
• Filling Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets accurately and efficiently
• Assisting with pharmacy operations to support patient care within a 117-bed licensed facility
• Utilizing Paragon/Allscripts for order entry
• Collaborating with a rotating team of technicians, with variable shifts including:
  • 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM
  • 12:00 PM to 08:30 PM
  • Weekend coverage from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM

Required qualifications:

• Must hold a valid California Pharmacy Technician license
• Demonstrated experience with IV compounding and Pyxis automation
• Familiarity with Paragon/Allscripts order entry systems preferred
• Ability to work flexible shifts and rotate coverage as needed

This position begins with full-time hours (40 hours per week) for approximately four weeks, transitioning into a PRN role to support fluctuating staffing needs thereafter. Immediate availability is essential.
