An established pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with a strong background in home infusion or compounding pharmacy to join their growing team in Los Angeles, CA. This direct-hire opportunity requires a candidate ready to start immediately and contribute to a dynamic and expanding workflow.
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Schedule & Hours:
- Monday to Friday shifts starting flexibly at 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, or 10:00 AM
- Rotating weekend coverage required
- Operating hours span 7 days a week from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded medications safely and accurately using a proprietary workflow system
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure medication adherence
- Participate actively in quality control and verification processes to maintain compliance with pharmacy standards
- Handle patient calls and provider communications, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills and professionalism
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy settings is mandatory; inpatient-only candidates will not be considered
- California Pharmacy Technician license required
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach, ideally with retail compounding experience as well
