Pharmacy Technician - Los Angeles, California

An established pharmacy is expanding and seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician specializing in home infusion or compounding to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. This direct hire opportunity requires a dedicated professional ready to contribute immediately in a fast-paced and patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound sterile and non-sterile medications following strict protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers to ensure proper medication use and address any questions.
• Utilize a proprietary workflow system to manage daily tasks efficiently.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to maintain high standards of patient care.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• National Certification is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy settings; inpatient-only backgrounds will not be considered.
• Strong communication skills with experience in patient and provider interaction, especially in retail compounding environments.
• Flexibility to work rotating weekends and adapt to varying start times during core operating hours.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday with start times between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
• Rotating weekend shifts are required.
• Hours of operation run 7 days a week from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
