Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - Los Lunas, NM

A healthcare provider is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to support their pharmacy operations in Albuquerque, NM. This position involves ensuring the accurate distribution of medications, offering expert guidance to customers regarding their prescriptions, and maintaining a high standard of customer service. Location:

• Albuquerque, NM

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (8.5 hours)
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (8.5 hours)

Responsibilities:

• Distribute medications prescribed by licensed healthcare practitioners accurately and efficiently
• Provide clear, accurate information to customers about their medications and proper usage
• Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience within the pharmacy
• Support pharmacy operations to maintain smooth workflow

Qualifications:

• Valid New Mexico Pharmacy Technician License required
• Experience in retail pharmacy or long-term care settings is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills with a focus on patient-focused service
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in medication handling
