Pharmacy Technician | Marietta, Georgia

An experienced IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technician is needed for a direct hire opportunity in the Marietta, GA area, supporting a leading infusion services provider. This role focuses on sterile compounding within a clinical setting and requires a detail-oriented individual with expertise in pharmacy operations.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturdays as needed

Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile compounding of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, following strict protocols
• Maintain quality assurance standards in compliance with departmental policies and legal regulations
• Complete sterile compounding practical certification every six months, adhering to USP 797 standards
• Ensure daily cleaning of sterile compounding rooms and primary engineering controls according to USP 797 requirements
• Provide training for new employees as requested
• Engage in clinical initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care
• Carry out additional pharmacy technician duties related to sterile compounding as assigned
• Utilize CareTend system for relevant processes

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia Pharmacy Technician license
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification is highly preferred
• Proven experience in sterile compounding and infusion pharmacy settings
• Strong understanding of USP 797 guidelines and sterile techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team
