Pharmacy Technician in Marshall, MI

This opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support a retail pharmacy environment with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and excellent customer service. The role offers a temp-to-hire arrangement, providing a pathway to permanent employment for the right candidate.

Location:

• Marshall, MI

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8.5-hour shifts with rotating start times at 7:30am, 8:00am, 9:30am, and 11:30am
• Store closes at 6pm on Fridays; no weekend shifts initially, with the possibility of weekend hours in the future

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Assist customers with prescription and over-the-counter medication inquiries professionally
• Maintain accurate records within the pharmacy computer system, ideally Pioneer RX
• Support inventory management and verify medication availability
• Adhere strictly to regulatory compliance and pharmacy protocols
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Pharmacy Technician license
• Previous pharmacy technician experience, specifically in a retail setting
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX pharmacy computer system is highly advantageous
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to a rotating shift schedule
