Retail Pharmacy Technician | Mckinney, Texas

A local, full-time position is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician in a closed-door pharmacy setting. This role involves handling a high volume of prescriptions, primarily focused on behavioral health medications. The pharmacy operates separately but in partnership with a clinic, with no vaccines administered on-site.

Location: Plano, TX
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: November 23rd
Type: Contract-to-Hire, Local Only
Script Volume: 350-400 prescriptions per day
Software: Enterprise RX (training provided)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently fill prescriptions, working with behavioral health medications exclusively
• Maintain high productivity while ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety protocols
• Collaborate with pharmacy and clinic staff to ensure smooth operations
• Manage inventory and ensure proper documentation within the Enterprise RX system

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Texas Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• Minimum 2 years recent experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred; candidates with 1+ years of retail pharmacy experience will be considered
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
