Pharmacy Technician - Mcpherson, Kansas

An inpatient pharmacy technician opportunity is available for a 13-week assignment in McPherson, Kansas. This position focuses on supporting pharmaceutical services in an inpatient setting, with a primary shift schedule Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The role requires a technician comfortable with some sterile IV compounding and familiar with Meditech software.

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in providing medications, drug information, and pharmaceutical services to healthcare personnel.
• Prepare sterile IV admixtures with accuracy and attention to safety protocols.
• Receive and properly store incoming medication and supply deliveries.
• Process prescription and medication orders, preparing medications efficiently and safely.

Qualifications:

• Current and active pharmacy technician license in Kansas.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent IV compounding experience.
• Experience with Meditech software is preferred.
