Pharmacy Technician | Mediapolis, Iowa

This opportunity seeks two Pharmacy Technicians to support outpatient retail pharmacies in Southeast Iowa. The role focuses on providing reliable pharmaceutical services in an outpatient setting owned by a regional health system.

Location: Mediapolis, IA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shifts
Duration: 13 weeks plus, with a start date as soon as possible
Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions in compliance with pharmacy regulations
• Assist customers with inquiries and facilitate smooth transactions
• Verify insurance details to ensure proper billing and coverage
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed
• Support pharmacists with daily operations and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications and Experience:

• Ability to obtain an Iowa Pharmacy Technician license promptly
• Experience in retail pharmacy settings preferred
• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
• Familiarity with pharmacy systems and insurance verification processes
