LTC Pharmacy Technician | Mesa, Arizona

Join a growing organization as an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician supporting long-term care patients with timely medication delivery and exceptional service. This role balances data entry and customer communication to help ensure patients receive their medications accurately and on schedule.

Location: Mesa, AZ
Job Type: Direct Hire
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM (post-training)
• Weekend rotation required

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter new and refill medication orders into the pharmacy software system
• Track and monitor delivery status of medications
• Provide excellent telephonic customer service, consulting with patients, providers, and pharmacy teams
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient pharmacy operations and on-time medication delivery
• Monitor reports to identify and resolve medication order issues promptly
• Help meet and exceed pharmacy run-time commitments to support patient care

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid AZ Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification required
• Prior long-term care pharmacy technician experience strongly preferred
• Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail
• Strong verbal, phone, and written communication abilities
• Dependable, trustworthy, and customer service oriented
• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Flexible team player adaptable to changing priorities
• Retail pharmacy technician experience welcomed for those interested in transitioning to long-term care
