A retail pharmacy technician opportunity is available for a 13-week contract-to-hire position in Mesa, AZ, offering the chance to work in a supportive team environment focused on patient care and medication accuracy.
Schedule and Location:
- 1st shift: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Location: Mesa, AZ
Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate data entry of prescription information
- Communicate effectively with patients and physicians to clarify prescription details
- Fill and dispense medications according to provider orders, verifying patient allergies before dispensing
- Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly following company protocols
- Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction
Desired Qualifications:
- Current, active Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona
- Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy technician experience
- Proficiency with Pioneer Rx system is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
