Pharmacy Tech | Mesa, Arizona

A retail pharmacy technician position is available on a 13-week contract-to-hire basis in Mesa, AZ. This role supports a team comprised of one pharmacist and three technicians, handling a script volume of under 100 per day. The position involves working first shift hours, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Responsibilities include:

• Entering prescription and patient data accurately into the Pioneer Rx system
• Contacting patients and physician offices as needed for prescription verification and clarifications
• Filling and dispensing medications as prescribed, while verifying patient allergies to ensure safety
• Responding promptly and professionally to patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in line with organizational policies
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy technician experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers
