Immediate opportunity for two experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support high-volume retail and mail order pharmacy operations. This 13-week contract role, with potential for contract-to-hire, requires candidates to start immediately and provide essential pharmacy services within a fast-paced environment.
Location: Mesa, AZ
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform dispensing and data entry tasks for both retail walk-in and primarily mail order prescriptions
- Maintain accuracy and efficiency to support high-volume workflow
- Exhibit proactive pharmacy intuition by identifying workflow needs and assisting accordingly
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and providers to ensure patient care
- Uphold strong communication and teamwork skills while maintaining a positive attitude
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum one year of recent experience in high-volume retail pharmacy settings (within the last year)
- Demonstrated ability to provide high levels of patient care and communication
- Experience or familiarity with dispensing HIV/AIDS medications is highly desired and should be clearly noted on your resume
- Valid Arizona Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification required
- Software proficiency in QS1 is highly preferred but not mandatory
- Dependable and punctual with a commitment to consistent attendance
