An opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacy technician specializing in retail and mail order settings. This role requires a dedicated professional to ensure high-quality service in a fast-paced environment, primarily handling mail order delivery with some walk-in retail customer interactions.

Location:

• Mesa, AZ

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Contract details:

• Immediate start with a 13-week duration
• Potential for contract to hire based on performance and fit

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy technician duties with a focus on high-volume data entry and dispensing
• Manage processing and dispensing of mail order medications efficiently and accurately
• Maintain pace to meet workload demands while upholding accuracy and safety standards
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills within the pharmacy team
• Proactively identify pharmacy needs and assist accordingly to support overall operations
• Stand throughout the shift in a high-volume, fast-moving setting

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-year recent experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting (candidates without recent experience will not be considered)
• Experience with HIV/AIDS medication dispensing is required and must be clearly documented on the resume, even if minimal
• AZ Pharmacy Technician License and/or PTCB certification
• Proficient with QS1 software is highly preferred but not mandatory
• Strong commitment to attendance and punctuality
• Exhibit a positive attitude and pharmacy intuition to anticipate and fulfill pharmacy duties
