Pharmacy Technician in Mesa, AZ

An opening opportunity for a skilled pharmacy technician experienced in fast-paced retail or mail order settings is available in Mesa, AZ. This contract assignment offers the potential for extension to a permanent role for the right candidate.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Responsibilities include managing high-volume data entry and dispensing duties, primarily focused on mail order medication delivery with some retail walk-in service. The role demands the ability to maintain a steady pace throughout the shift.

Key Qualifications:

• Recent experience (within the last year) in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment is mandatory.
• Experience with HIV/AIDS medication dispensing is highly desired and should be clearly indicated on the resume.
• Ability to stand and work throughout the entire shift in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Dependability and punctuality are essential.
• Demonstrated pharmacy intuition to proactively identify and fulfill pharmacy needs.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software is highly preferred though not required.
• Must hold a valid Arizona Pharmacy Technician License or PTCB certification.
