Pharmacy Technician in Mesa, AZ

An immediate opening is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support a high-volume retail and mail order pharmacy operation in Mesa, AZ. This contract position spans 13 weeks with strong potential to convert to a permanent role for the right candidate. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties focusing on data entry and dispensing processes
• Manage high-volume prescriptions primarily for mail order delivery, with some walk-in retail customers
• Maintain pace and accuracy under a fast-moving workflow
• Exhibit proactive support by identifying and assisting with pharmacy duty needs
• Communicate effectively with team members and demonstrate strong teamwork

Qualifications:

• Recent experience (within the last year) in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting is required
• Experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medications is highly preferred and should be explicitly listed on the resume
• AZ Pharmacy Technician license or PTCB certification required
• Ability to stand throughout the shift in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and dependable attendance are essential
• Software proficiency with QS1 is highly preferred but not mandatory
