Pharmacy Technician | Mesa, Arizona

This position offers the opportunity to work as a Retail Pharmacy Technician in a fast-paced environment supporting a team consisting of one pharmacist and three technicians. Situated in Mesa, AZ, this is a 13-week contract to hire role with consistent weekday hours.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 am to 5:30 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurate data entry related to prescriptions and patient records
• Communicating with patients and physician offices to verify prescriptions and resolve issues
• Filling and dispensing medications in accordance with provider instructions, ensuring patient allergies are checked before dispensing
• Handling patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally, adhering to organizational guidelines
• Delivering excellent customer service to maintain patient satisfaction

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Pharmacy Technician license for the state of Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience specifically in retail pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with the Pioneer Rx system is beneficial

Work Environment:

• Pharmacy daily script volume is under 100, allowing for detailed attention to each prescription
