Pharmacy Technician in Mesa, AZ

This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced retail pharmacy technician ready to take on a contract-to-hire position in the Mesa area. With a manageable prescription volume, the position offers a balanced workday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate data entry and record keeping using Pioneer Rx system
• Communicate with patients and physicians’ offices to ensure smooth prescription processing
• Fill and dispense medications as prescribed, verifying patient allergies and ensuring safety
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally
• Deliver outstanding customer service in line with organizational standards

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona is required
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience specifically in retail pharmacy setting
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices and accuracy in filling prescriptions
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to handle patient interactions effectively

Location:

• Mesa, Arizona, with an opportunity to transition from contract to permanent

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

This position involves working alongside one registered pharmacist and three pharmacy technicians, maintaining a prescription volume under 100 scripts per day, allowing for careful attention to detail and quality service.
