Pharmacy Technician - Mesa, Arizona

An opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician with retail experience to support a pharmacy team in Mesa, AZ. This position offers a 13-week contract to hire arrangement, providing a pathway to a more permanent role. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., contributing to a stable weekday schedule.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurate data entry of prescriptions and patient information
• Communicating with patients and physicians’ offices to clarify medication orders
• Filling and dispensing medications according to providers’ prescriptions, ensuring verification of patient allergies
• Addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints following organizational guidelines
• Delivering excellent customer service to foster patient trust and satisfaction

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Pharmacy Technician license for the state of Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with Pioneer Rx system preferred but not required

The team you will join consists of one registered pharmacist and three technicians, handling a script volume of fewer than 100 prescriptions per day — offering a manageable workload in a fast-paced yet patient-focused environment.
