Pharmacy Technician - Mesa, Arizona

This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician position in a retail pharmacy setting located in Mesa, AZ. The role offers a 13-week contract to hire arrangement, providing a pathway to potential permanent employment.

Schedule/Hours:

• 1st Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately perform data entry related to prescriptions and patient information.
• Communicate with patients and physicians’ offices for prescription verification and clarification.
• Fill and dispense medications following provider prescriptions, ensuring verification of patient allergies.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and in line with organizational policies.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to support patient care and satisfaction.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail environment.
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx pharmacy system is advantageous.
• Ability to work efficiently in a pharmacy staffed by one pharmacist and three technicians.
• Comfortable managing daily prescription volumes of fewer than 100 scripts.
