Pharmacy Technician - Mesa, AZ

Schedule/Shift:

• Full Time
• 2nd shift: 1:30 pm – 10:00 pm (multiple shifts pending confirmation)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare high-quality medications tailored to individual patients’ needs
• Compound various non-sterile medications such as capsules, oral liquids, topicals, nasal preparations, tablets, and treats
• Label prescriptions and prepackage bulk medications for distribution
• Monitor inventory levels, reorder supplies, and manage receiving inventory
• Conduct regular cleaning and environmental monitoring following strict protocols
• Apply strong attention to detail, excellent math skills, and sustained focus
• Meet or exceed prescribed metrics for medication preparation turnaround
• Support timely delivery of medications to pet owners and veterinarians

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid AZ State Pharmacy Technician License required
• Previous pharmacy technician experience essential
• Willingness to learn non-sterile compounding—training provided
• Strong commitment to accuracy and quality in medication preparation
