Pharmacy Technician | Mesa, Arizona

A pharmacy technician position is available for a 13-week contract to hire assignment in the Phoenix, AZ area. This role operates within a retail setting, supporting one pharmacist and three technicians, with a daily prescription volume of under 100. The schedule follows first shift hours, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense medications following provider prescriptions while verifying patient allergies
• Perform data entry and manage prescription information in Pioneer Rx system
• Contact patients and physician offices to clarify prescriptions or resolve issues
• Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and according to policies
• Deliver excellent customer service to support patient care and satisfaction

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in retail settings
• Proficiency with Pioneer Rx system is advantageous
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
