Pharmacy Technician in Mesa, AZ

This role offers an opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support a retail pharmacy team in Mesa, AZ, with a contract leading to potential full-time employment. The position involves working closely with pharmacy staff to ensure accurate medication dispensing and exceptional patient service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense medications as prescribed, verifying patient allergies before processing.
• Perform data entry with attention to detail to maintain pharmacy records.
• Contact patients and physician offices to clarify prescriptions or resolve issues.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Deliver outstanding customer service aligned with organizational standards.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona is required.
• Minimum of 2 years recent pharmacy experience, with a preference for retail settings.
• Ability to work efficiently during the 1st shift (8:30am – 5:30pm), Monday through Friday.
• Familiarity with the Pioneer Rx system is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers.

Schedule & Location:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm.
• Mesa, Arizona.
