Pharmacy Technician in Mesquite, TX

This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacy Technician seeking a full-time role within a unique integrated pharmacy setting. Located in Plano, TX, this position supports a closed-door pharmacy specializing exclusively in behavioral health medications. The pharmacy operates under contract with a behavioral health hospital, providing a focused and specialized work environment without public vaccine administration.

The role requires handling a daily script volume of 350-400, supporting a fast-paced and high-volume pharmacy workflow. You will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring operational excellence within the pharmacy team. Enterprise RX software is used for prescription management, and training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense behavioral health medications in compliance with regulatory standards
• Manage high prescription volumes efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals within the behavioral health hospital framework
• Operate in a closed-door pharmacy environment separate from the clinical setting

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Texas Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy technician experience; 2 years preferred, retail experience is highly valued
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
