Pharmacy Technician | Miami, Florida

Location: Oakland Park, FL
Type: 13-week contract to hire
Start: ASAP
Shift:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Saturday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (flexible to work Saturdays required)

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy technician duties including data entry and medication dispensing
• Provide sensitive, non-judgmental patient support in a specialty pharmacy setting
• Communicate effectively with both patients and healthcare providers
• Identify workflow needs and proactively assist to maintain efficient pharmacy operations

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment
• Experience with HIV/AIDS medications must be clearly noted in the candidate’s resume
• Proficiency with QS1 software preferred; training provided for tech-savvy individuals
• Florida Pharmacy Technician License required; PTCB certification is a plus but not mandatory
