Per Diem Pharmacy Technician | Miami, Florida

Support mental health care by contributing as a Pharmacy Technician in a carefully managed independent pharmacy setting, located in Miami, FL. This per diem position offers a focused work environment serving patients tied to a mental health provider network with a manageable daily workload and a stable Monday through Friday schedule.

Schedule:

• Dates needed: August 18, 19, 20, 21, and 24
• Hours: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM with two 15-minute breaks
• No weekends or holidays required

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter prescription data from the electronic script queue
• Fill prescriptions carefully and efficiently
• Manage shipping and point-of-sale (POS) system operations related to prescription delivery
• Utilize PioneerRx pharmacy system and coordinate with a local courier service for medication delivery (Drug Lift platform)
• Handle minimal inbound calls and assist customers, predominantly in Spanish if fluent

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license
• Proficiency in data entry with strong attention to detail
• Experience with the PioneerRx system preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Spanish language skills are highly desirable, enhancing communication with the patient base

Work Environment and Additional Information:

• Pharmacy operates Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Average daily prescription volume of fewer than 100, no opioid prescriptions dispensed
• Minimal walk-in customers, no drive-thru, no immunizations administered on site
• Most prescriptions (90%) are delivered to patients via local courier or UPS
• Low call volume and limited point-of-sale sales activity
