Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Miami, FL

This per diem Pharmacy Technician position supports an independent pharmacy serving patients of mental health providers at a North Miami medical facility. The role offers a structured weekday schedule with no weekends or holidays, ideal for professionals seeking a focused work environment.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM with two 15-minute breaks
• Specific dates needed: August 18, 19, 20, 21, and 24

Responsibilities include data entry from electronic prescription queues, accurately filling prescriptions, and managing shipping through the point-of-sale system. The pharmacy dispenses fewer than 100 prescriptions daily, primarily delivered via local courier or UPS. There is minimal walk-in traffic, no drive-thru service, and no opioid dispensing. Handling of approximately 20 incoming calls daily is required.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Florida Pharmacy Technician license
• Proficiency in data entry
• Familiarity with PioneerRx pharmacy system preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Ability to work efficiently in a low-volume pharmacy setting
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus, given the patient demographic
