An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician with a strong background in inpatient pharmacy settings and sterile compounding. This contract role is based in Middleton, WI, with a flexible start date accommodating either 9/14 or 9/21. The assignment spans 13 weeks with the possibility of extension up to 26 weeks.
Schedule/Hours:
- Mix of days and evenings
- 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and/or 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM shifts
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years inpatient pharmacy technician experience
- Proficiency in sterile compounding practices
- Valid Wisconsin pharmacy technician license
Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications as prescribed
- Perform sterile compounding in compliance with safety and quality standards
- Maintain medication inventory and ensure proper storage
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare staff to support patient care
