This opportunity is for a Certified Pharmacy Technician to serve as a traveling liaison between pharmacy operations and multiple healthcare facilities across Maryland and Virginia. The role involves working closely with facility leadership and staff to ensure top-quality medication management and regulatory compliance throughout the assigned territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at assigned facilities, acting as the primary contact.
  • Collaborate with directors of clinical services and pharmacy operations to support medication therapy and regulatory compliance.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Identify opportunities to expand pharmacy services and introduce new products.
  • Conduct training sessions and educational programs on facility and pharmacy systems, including new startups.
  • Perform monthly onsite visits with reporting to support ongoing improvement and customer success.
  • Prepare facilities for surveys and audits.
  • Conduct medication cart and room inspections, along with medication pass observations as requested.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy teams to ensure seamless service coordination across facilities.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Active Pharmacy Technician licenses in both Virginia and Maryland.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification highly preferred.
  • Experience in long-term care settings strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with pharmacy and medication distribution software (EMAR, Medbank, Frameworks preferred).
  • Reliable transportation with willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory, including potential overnight stays.

Location:

  • Travel required to healthcare facilities throughout Virginia and Maryland, including but not limited to Alexandria, Woodbridge, Fairfax, Richmond, Hampton, and Baltimore areas.

Schedule:

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday, typically 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Occasional evening audits may be required; flexibility appreciated.
