An opportunity is available for an experienced IV/Infusion pharmacy technician to support the growth of a home infusion service line within a reputable healthcare system operating multiple hospitals and home infusion sites in Virginia and North Carolina. This contract-to-hire role, based in Midlothian, VA, offers the chance to contribute to patient care through specialized sterile compounding in a dynamic pharmacy setting.

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, day shift
Responsibilities:
- Prepare IVs, total parenteral nutrition (TPNs), and other sterile compounded medications under pharmacist supervision
- Maintain strict quality assurance in compliance with departmental protocols and legal standards
- Assist in training new pharmacy technicians as needed
- Engage in clinical initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and safety
- Perform additional sterile compounding and pharmacy technician duties as assigned
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of solid IV/infusion pharmacy technician experience; home infusion experience strongly preferred
- Inpatient IV experience considered
- Current Virginia pharmacy technician license and national certification required
- Proficiency with EPIC pharmacy system
