This opportunity seeks an experienced Pharmacy Technician ready to contribute in an inpatient hospital setting. You will support pharmacy operations during an overnight shift, managing medication order entry and utilizing advanced automation systems with an emphasis on sterile compounding practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the accurate order entry of medications through Meditech.
• Manage medication dispensing and inventory using Pyxis automation.
• Perform sterile compounding tasks in compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with pharmacy and healthcare teams to ensure timely medication delivery.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to hospital policies and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Ohio pharmacy technician license.
• National certification as a pharmacy technician.
• Proven inpatient pharmacy experience.
• Hands-on experience with sterile compounding.
• Proficient in Pyxis automation system.
• Familiarity with Meditech order entry preferred.

Schedule:

• 7 on, 7 off rotation.
• Night shift from 9 PM to 7 AM.
• Typically Thursday through Thursday schedule.

This position is structured as a 13-week contract with the potential for direct hire, reflecting ongoing updates to agreements that support staff needs. The role offers a structured work schedule with dedicated time off between rotations.
