A pharmacy technician opportunity is available for an overnight shift in a long-term care and mail order environment. This role offers a contract-to-hire arrangement for a 13-week period, working a consistent schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off (8:30 PM to 5:00 AM), specifically covering Wednesday through Thursday overnight shifts. This position requires a motivated individual prepared to contribute to a dynamic and patient-focused pharmacy setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications according to prescription orders.
- Support pharmacy operations in a mail order and long-term care environment.
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Assist pharmacists in daily tasks to ensure efficient workflows.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking medications as needed.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Massachusetts pharmacy technician license is required.
- Pharmacy technician license held in any other jurisdictions is advantageous.
- Long-term care (LTC) pharmacy experience is a plus.
- National certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to work overnight shifts as scheduled.
