An experienced inpatient Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available for a 13-week contract starting April 13 in Milwaukee, WI. This role involves supporting medication dispensing and delivery operations within a hospital setting, utilizing automation systems to ensure accurate and timely distribution of pharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities include:
- Dispensing and delivering medications to inpatient units
- Operating pharmacy automation systems to assist in medication management
- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards during medication handling
- Supporting pharmacy staff with daily operational tasks related to inpatient pharmacy services
Qualifications:
- Valid Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license required
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification highly preferred
- Previous experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy environment
- Familiarity with pharmacy automation equipment and medication dispensing procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
Schedule:
- Mixed shifts including days, evenings, and rotating weekends
