This role offers a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity for Pharmacy Technicians in Minneapolis, MN, with a client committed to a swift and efficient hiring process. Candidates must hold a current Minnesota Pharmacy Technician license and demonstrate flexibility to work rotating shifts between 10:00 AM and 8:30 PM, including weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Assist under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist in accurately filling prescriptions and preparing IV medications.
- Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter data for prescription processing and reimbursement.
- Support prepackaging of medications in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Aid in the final prescription accuracy check, packaging, and coordination of timely delivery to customers.
- Contribute to effective inventory management by receiving, rotating, and tracking medication supplies.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment while ensuring equipment calibration and cleanliness.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Pharmacy Technician license is required.
- Retail pharmacy experience preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
- Ability to adapt to various shifts, including weekends, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
