A pharmacy team is seeking skilled Pharmacy Technicians for a 13-week contract-to-hire assignment based in Minneapolis, MN. This role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts between 10:00 AM and 8:30 PM, including weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Registered Pharmacist under direct supervision in filling prescriptions and preparing IV medications.
- Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to input prescription and reimbursement data accurately into the computer system.
- Prepackage medications adhering to standards and government regulations.
- Support Pharmacists in final prescription checks and coordinate timely, accurate delivery of medications to customers.
- Maintain inventory by receiving and rotating stock, managing lot numbers and expiration dates, and assisting in physical inventory counts.
- Ensure a clean, safe work environment by working with supervisors on equipment calibration, safety, and cleanliness.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minnesota Pharmacy Technician license in hand is required.
- Candidates with retail pharmacy experience are welcome; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow regulations and procedures.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends.
