Pharmacy Technician | Monticello, Indiana

This opportunity is for experienced Indiana Licensed Pharmacy Technicians to provide vital support within a community retail pharmacy setting. The role involves engaging directly with customers and processing orders, ensuring a smooth and professional pharmacy experience.

Location:

• Monticello, IN area with work primarily at a community pharmacy location
• Potential coverage at a sister retail facility in Francesville, IN after training, if needed

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform order entry accurately and efficiently using the PioneerRx system (experience preferred)
• Ring up customers and provide excellent customer service in a retail pharmacy environment
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff including Pharmacists and the Pharmacy Manager to maintain workflow
• Be flexible to cover shifts at the sister facility in Francesville once trained
• Complete a 3-day training and orientation before starting in the role

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Must hold an active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license
• Previous retail pharmacy experience is required
• PTCB certification is needed to cover the sister facility
• Familiarity with order entry systems, preferably PioneerRx, is beneficial
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to assist customers and team members
• Local candidates only to facilitate training and on-site coverage
