Pharmacy Technician in Monticello, IN

This opportunity is ideal for Indiana Licensed Pharmacy Technicians with retail experience seeking a contract role in a community pharmacy setting. The position is located in Monticello, IN, with the primary site offering retail pharmacy services and focused on providing excellent customer interactions and accurate order management.

Responsibilities:

• Process prescription order entry accurately using PioneerRx software (experience preferred)
• Ring up customers efficiently and maintain positive customer service at the pharmacy counter
• Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy management to support daily operations
• Provide coverage at a sister facility if trained and when needed, requiring PTCB certification for that location
• Participate in required 3-day training and orientation before starting the assignment

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current Indiana Pharmacy Technician licensure
• Prior retail pharmacy experience is essential
• Comfortable working with pharmacy order entry systems, preferably PioneerRx
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Local candidates only, familiar with community pharmacy practices

Schedule/Hours:

• 40 hours per week: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
