Pharmacy Technician - Monticello, Indiana

A pharmacy technician role is available to support retail operations in a community pharmacy setting located in Monticello, IN. This contract position requires a confident individual with strong retail pharmacy experience and an Indiana Pharmacy Technician license. The assignment starts June 29th and will continue until a permanent technician is hired.

Responsibilities include:

• Entering prescription orders accurately using the PioneerRx system (experience preferred)
• Assisting customers with transactions and ringing up sales
• Providing support across sister facilities after completing training as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license required
• Previous retail pharmacy technician experience required
• Familiarity with PioneerRx software preferred but not mandatory
• PTCB certification needed to provide coverage at the Francesville location

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Coverage every other Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Prior to starting, candidates must complete a 3-day training and orientation program to ensure a smooth transition.

The work environment involves a team comprising a Pharmacy Manager, one full-time Pharmacist, and two full-time Technicians. Business casual dress code is observed.
