Pharmacy Technician in Monticello, IN

An opportunity is available for two licensed Indiana Pharmacy Technicians with PTCB certification to support a community-focused pharmacy in Francesville, IN. This contract position offers approximately 24-30 hours per week, primarily covering Wednesday through Friday, with no weekend shifts required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate order entry using the PioneerRx system (experience preferred)
• Fill prescriptions with attention to detail and safety
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service at the register
• Participate in a 3-day orientation and training period before starting
• Potential to assist at a nearby sister facility once trained

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license
• PTCB certification
• Previous retail pharmacy experience required
• Familiarity with PioneerRx software and Eyecon Medication Counting Device is a plus
• Must be available for coverage beginning late June and continuing until permanent staff are hired
• Local candidates preferred due to training and on-site requirements

Facility Details:

• Average daily prescription volume: approximately 30 scripts
• Staff includes 2 Pharmacy Technicians and remote pharmacist verification
• Operational hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Sister facility coverage at Pulaski Memorial Hospital Community Pharmacy available with training
