Pharmacy Technician - Moorpark, California

Two Pharmacy Technician positions are available at a busy medical center serving as the county hospital for Ventura County, located in Moorpark, CA. These roles provide an excellent opportunity to support patient care by efficiently managing medication dispensing and pharmacy operations. The assignments begin ASAP and are expected to last approximately 13 weeks.

Location: Moorpark, CA (Ventura County Medical Center)

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time hours (specific shift details available upon request)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescribed medications following professional and legal standards
• Assist pharmacists in managing medication inventory and records
• Operate pharmacy technology systems to process prescriptions
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician credential preferred or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting highly desirable
• Knowledge of pharmacy practices, medication safety, and dispensing protocols
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team
