This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician role supporting an outpatient retail pharmacy within a healthcare clinic setting. The position offers contract-to-hire potential and the chance to work closely with leadership at a regional medical center.
Location: Moultrie, GA
Schedule:
- Monday/Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Tuesday/Thursday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process prescriptions and enter data into the pharmacy system
- Fill and dispense medications following safety standards
- Manage insurance claims and billing processes effectively
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable service at the retail pharmacy counter
- Maintain inventory and ensure appropriate stock levels
- Assist pharmacists with daily outpatient pharmacy operations
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Active Georgia Pharmacy Technician registration required
- Previous experience in retail or hospital pharmacy environments preferred
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to support patient interactions
- Familiarity with Pioneer pharmacy systems is a plus
