This role offers an opportunity to work as a Pharmacy Technician in an outpatient retail pharmacy setting, supporting pharmacists and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations. The position is contract to hire and based in Moultrie, GA, within a retail pharmacy linked to a regional healthcare system.
Location: Moultrie, GA
Schedule:
- Monday/Wednesday: 9 AM – 6 PM
- Tuesday/Thursday: 7 AM – 6 PM
- Friday: 9 AM – 5 PM
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and enter prescription data using the Pioneer system
- Fill and dispense medications in compliance with regulations
- Handle insurance claim processing and billing efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service at the retail pharmacy counter
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels
- Assist pharmacists with daily outpatient workflow tasks
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Pharmacy Technician registration
- Experience in retail or hospital pharmacy preferred
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills essential
