Pharmacy Technician in Moundridge, KS

This opportunity is for an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support a healthcare facility in McPherson, Kansas for a 13-week assignment. The position offers the chance to apply your pharmacy technician skills in an inpatient setting, primarily working the 1st shift from Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, providing drug information, and delivering pharmaceutical services to clinical staff
• Prepare sterile IV admixtures, including some sterile compounding duties
• Receive, store, and manage incoming medication and supply deliveries
• Process prescriptions and medication orders accurately and prepare medications for administration

Qualifications:

• Current, clear, and active pharmacy technician license in Kansas
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in IV compounding; some sterile compounding experience is essential
• Familiarity with Meditech pharmacy software preferred to manage medication orders efficiently

Schedule & Location:

• 13-week contract assignment
• Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 1st shift
• Location: McPherson, Kansas
