Pharmacy Technician | Murfreesboro, Tennessee

This opportunity offers a contract position for experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support a busy mail order and renal specialty pharmacy. The assignments are eight weeks in duration, with the potential to transition into a permanent role for candidates who hold PTCB certification.

Positions Available:

• One technician: 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. shift
• Two technicians: 1:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. shift

Schedule and Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities:

• In a customer service role: verify shipping details, enter new patient information, and update patient profiles using pharmacy software
• In a dispensing role: accurately fill and dispense prescription medications
• Utilize the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system (note: no automation in place)
• Maintain high accuracy and compliance in all pharmacy activities

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB preferred, required for permanent placement)
• Previous experience in a retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy setting is highly valued
• Proficiency with pharmacy software systems and accurate data entry skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to work effectively in either customer service or dispensing capacities

• Murfreesboro, TN (worksite located in LaVergne, TN)
