Pharmacy Tech - Murfreesboro, Tennessee

This opportunity is for pharmacy technicians to support a busy mail order renal specialty pharmacy filling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. The roles include both customer service and dispensing responsibilities, offering a dynamic work environment where attention to detail and accuracy are essential. Positions are based in Lavergne, TN, for 8-week assignments with the potential to convert to permanent roles contingent upon PTCB certification.

Schedule/Hours:

• One technician: 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Two technicians: 1:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
• 40 hours per week
• Immediate start

Location:

• Lavergne, TN (near Murfreesboro, TN)

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service Role: Verify shipping information, input new patient data, update patient profiles using the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system
• Dispensing Role: Accurately fill and dispense medications, ensuring adherence to pharmacy protocols
• Maintain clear communication with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals
• Support day-to-day pharmacy operations with attention to detail and efficiency

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB) preferred for consideration in permanent placement
• Previous experience in a mail order or specialty pharmacy setting is a plus
• Proficient with pharmacy software systems, preferably Wellsky
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
