A fast-paced pharmacy environment in Lavergne, TN is seeking skilled pharmacy technicians to fill multiple roles on evening shifts. This contract opportunity offers 8-week assignments with the potential to transition into permanent positions for certified candidates.

Shift Options:

• One technician: 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Two technicians: 1:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Responsibilities include supporting the pharmacy team in both customer service and dispensing roles within a mail-order, renal specialty pharmacy that fills approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. Tasks vary based on assignment and may involve verifying shipping details, entering and updating patient information using Wellsky pharmacy software, or accurately filling and dispensing medications.

Key Qualifications:

• Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB) required for permanent placement consideration
• Prior experience in pharmacy technician roles preferred
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is a plus
