Pharmacy Technician - Murfreesboro, TN

This opportunity is for skilled Pharmacy Technicians to support a busy mail order renal specialty pharmacy handling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. The assignments offer a 12-week contract with 40 hours per week and an ASAP start date. There is potential for these roles to transition into temp-to-hire positions for candidates holding PTCB certification.

Location: Murfreesboro, TN

Schedule:

• One technician for 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• One technician for 1:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pharmacy operations either in a customer service or dispensing capacity.
• In customer service roles, verify shipping information, enter new patient data, and update patient profiles using the pharmacy software system.
• In dispensing roles, accurately fill and dispense medications to customers.
• Utilize Wellsky pharmacy order entry system (no automation involved).

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Prior pharmacy technician experience, particularly in mail order or specialty pharmacy settings is beneficial.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems; experience with Wellsky is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when entering and verifying patient information.
• Ability to efficiently multitask between patient support and dispensing duties.
• PTCB certification required for candidates considered for permanent hire.
