Pharmacy Technician in Murfreesboro, TN

Engage in a dynamic pharmacy technician role supporting a busy mail order renal specialty pharmacy that handles approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. This contract opportunity offers two technician positions with distinct shifts: one from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and another from 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., each working 40 hours per week. These 12-week assignments start immediately and provide potential to transition into a permanent role for candidates holding PTCB certification.

Responsibilities:

• In the customer service role, verify shipping details, enter new patient information, and update patient profiles using the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system.
• In the dispensing role, accurately fill and dispense medications as per prescriptions.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while handling high prescription volume.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient processing and delivery of medications.

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB preferred for permanent placement consideration).
• Experience with order entry systems, ideally Wellsky, is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in customer service or dispensing capacities.
