Pharmacy Technician in Murfreesboro, TN

This role offers a dynamic environment within a busy mail order renal specialty pharmacy handling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. The position is a 13-week contract assignment with the possibility of transitioning to a temp-to-hire role, contingent upon certification (PTCB) for permanent placement.

Schedule/Hours:

• 40 hours per week

Location:

• Murfreesboro, TN

Responsibilities:

• Perform duties in either a customer service or dispensing capacity
• Customer service tasks include verifying shipping information, entering new patient details, and updating patient profiles in the pharmacy system
• Dispensing duties involve accurately filling and dispensing medications
• Utilize the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system in a non-automated environment
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy procedures and standards

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Prior experience as a pharmacy technician preferred
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems, ideally Wellsky
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and team members
• Certification (PTCB) required for consideration for permanent placement
