A certified pharmacy technician position is available for a 13-week contract assignment in Murfreesboro, TN, with the possibility of transitioning to a temp-to-hire role. Candidates must be registered with the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy and hold PTCB certification to be considered for permanent placement.

Schedule & Hours:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • 40 hours per week

This role supports a mail order, renal specialty pharmacy processing approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. The pharmacy utilizes the Wellsky order entry system without automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks in a customer service capacity, including verifying shipping information, entering new patient details, and updating patient profiles within the pharmacy software system
  • Assist in dispensing by accurately filling prescriptions and preparing medications for shipment
  • Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and ensure accuracy in all tasks
  • Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff to support workflow and patient needs

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB required for permanent consideration)
  • Registration with the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy
  • Experience with mail order or specialty pharmacy operations preferred
  • Proficiency with pharmacy software systems, familiarity with Wellsky is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
