Pharmacy Technician | Murfreesboro, Tennessee

This opportunity is a 13-week contract position for a Pharmacy Technician at a busy mail order renal specialty pharmacy filling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. The assignment offers potential to transition into a temp-to-hire role, contingent on PTCB certification for permanent placement.

Schedule/Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• Immediate start

Location:

• Murfreesboro, TN

Responsibilities:

• Perform customer service tasks such as verifying shipping information, entering new patient data, and updating patient profiles in the pharmacy software system
• Accurately fill and dispense medications in the dispensing role
• Utilize the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system to manage prescriptions
• Support pharmacy operations efficiently without automation tools

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with entering and verifying prescription and patient information
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• PTCB certification required for candidates interested in permanent placement
